Someone pointed me to the episode on the @Unregistered Podcast with Vin Armani where he spoke about Jordan Peterson. I mentioned this in a video and he contacted me to make sure I didn't have the wrong idea based on that talk. We struck up an email correspondence and I asked if he'd be willing to share his story. James has a PhD in Psychology and teaches in Sacramento and is a member of our local meetup. Joey is a single man in his 30s and helped start the Bridges of Meaning Discord server. @Bret Weinstein and @Jordan B Peterson had a very heavy convo which covered a number of interesting topics. I like Bret but he's on a mission that is incoherent. Humanity is coded for destruction and all we need to do to avoid the apocalypse is Mary Sue ourselves out of our genocidal programming. It's like a Terminator Robot deciding to become a pacifist just because it learned that killing is wrong. For a very smart guy on a very determined mission this is simply blind, especially after making a career that explains human behavior because of evolutionary code.
