There was 24 minutes missing from the first posting of this video. The last approximately 24 minutes is new material from the first podcast.
I thought @Jordan B Peterson and Bari Weiss had a terrific conversation. https://youtu.be/tFTA9MJZ4KY. The both occupy the moderate left that has been exiled by the rise of weaponized critical theory and polarization. They're both compelling speakers.
I seriously considered just diving into this 2 hour plus monster of a supposedly one question talk "Why Bari Weiss left the New York Times?" but it was simply too good and too massive. So I'm beginning with the most important thing to notice here. This is all about a religious transition. What is unseen is THAT it is a religious transition but both Weiss and Peterson are a bit hesitant to really call it such because of the nature of secularity which is really a Christendom fog. That fog affords a degree of lubrication because of pluralism but it is going away as purity forces demand a realm of light and darkness.
So this is just the beginning of my treatment of this excellent conversation.

Philip the Deacon flees Jerusalem after the conflict between Hellenistic Diaspora elements in Jerusalem attack the church spearheaded by Saul. Philip goes up into Samaria and makes a splash. Two stories are given inviting us to compare and contrast fruitfulness and baptism in the new church: Simon Magus and the Ethiopian Eunuch. Acts 8.

I was recently on @Rebel Wisdom talking about the conversation between David Fuller and Jonathan Rowson reflecting on @Jordan B Peterson 's first wave. Many asked what would the second wave bring?
While I was editing the audio for today's Q/A I caught this bit of Peterson and Heather Heying on @Triggernometry where I thought Jordan gave a very clear and concise version of his argument. As promised to my followup from the @Rebel Wisdom commentary I want to listen to @Andrew Klavan and his recent chat with @Jordan B Peterson .
There is definitely an issue of ideological hazard with Peterson as Jonathan Rowson and David Fuller noticed. Peterson lays out the reasons but his reluctance to live a religious (s) life places him in this hazard.
Klaven and he then go onto the definition of faith. It's hard not to see Peterson as having faith in God but why still the reluctant posture with respect to the church?

@Rebel Wisdom did a video interview with Jonathan Rowson. Rowson did an interview with Jordan Peterson right after the Cathy Newman interview that really launched @Jordan B Peterson to new heights of fame and public notoriety. Here David Fuller and Rowson do some processing of the Jordan Peterson phenomenon now 3 years later. I think there were some key things going on and doing the commentary afforded me some new insight.
